The Softball Mechanics app uses AI to analyze softball mechanics, including windmill pitching and hitting. We are committed to protecting the privacy of everyone who uses our App, including children. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding that information.
Voluntary Information:
Video Frames:
The app captures still frames from videos stored on your device. We do not receive, store, or retain the original video file. Only compressed JPEG frames are sent to our server for AI analysis and are discarded immediately afterward.
Error Reports:
If the app encounters a technical error, an automatic diagnostic report may be sent. These reports include the error, the screen or feature it happened on, your device model, operating system, app version and build, and your account identifier. They do not include your name, your email address, or any player profile information. They are used only to fix technical problems and are never sold or used for marketing.

Softball Mechanics is designed for use by coaches, parents, and guardians who analyze players they work with. The app may be used to analyze youth softball players.
Email collection is entirely optional. If you choose to provide a child's email address or your own on behalf of a child under 13, you confirm that you have parental or guardian consent to do so. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 without verifiable parental consent.
If you believe we have inadvertently collected information from a child under 13 without consent, please contact us at SoftballMSupport@gmail.com and we will delete it promptly.
All data transmitted between the app and our servers is protected using encrypted HTTPS connections. API keys and secrets are stored as environment variables and are never embedded in the app binary. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
California residents (CCPA): you have the right to know what personal information we collect, request deletion, and opt out of sale (we do not sell data).
EEA / UK residents (GDPR): you have the right to access, correct, or erase your personal data, and to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.
The app does not display advertisements or use tracking pixels. We have no affiliation with USA Softball, NPF, or any other softball organization.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the app after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy. For significant changes, we will make reasonable efforts to notify users through the app.
